June 2016 News Roundup

As a change of pace, I decided that I would do a post on the major news stories of the last few weeks. As I covered the FBI’s warrantless browser search power grab in the last article, I will not recover it here.

Recently, the media has been obsessed with the mass shooting at the gay nightclub “Pulse” in Orlando, Florida. It appears that 29 year old Omar Mateen, a U.S. born son of a Afghani immigrant parents, shot up a well-known nightclub for gays/sexual perverts. It is the largest mass shooting in American history, killing 49 and wounding more than 50. Mateen was killed by police. Mateen, a Muslim, alledgedly placed a 911 call during the shooting, where he allegedly pledged allegiance to ISIS.

Donald Trump and Fox News are making a big deal out of Obama calling this an act of hate and terror, not an act of radical Islamic terrorism.

Hillary Rodham Clinton has already used this as an excuse to advocate for gun control, stating “that weapons of war have no place on our streets”.

Correction, Ms. Rodham. First, the AR-15 type rifle is not a weapon of war; it is a semi-auto variation of one. Second, the 2nd amendment guarantees the right of Americans to own the “weapons of war” for the defense of their life, liberty, or property -including militia service. Third, the emotional phrase “on our streets” that she used implies gang or criminal activity, not responsible citizen gun owners.

There has been outrage displayed on Faux News that a man who had been investigated (and cleared) by the FBI for potential ties to terrorism was allowed to buy a gun. these people do not comprehend, or openly despise, the Anglo-American concept of innocent until proven guilty and due process of law.

There has been an outcry to prohibit persons on the so-called “terror watch list” from buying firearms. The terror watch list allows someone to be put on it without their knowledge, and without any clear evidence -let alone legal indictment for- any criminal act whatsoever. The terror watch list is a tool for tyranny to us against political dissenters, and is abhorrent to American principles.

If king George would have had a “terror watch list’ in the 1760s and 70s, he would have put the Founding fathers on it. If the Founding Fathers were alive today, they would be on the government’s terror watch list!

Buried in all the hysteria about the Orlando shooting is an event of potentially much more significance. The annual Bilderberg meeting occurred last weekend in Dresden, Germany. The exclusive Bilderberg Group is known to patriots, and is the subject of the book Jim Tucker’s Bilderberg Diary, published by the American Free Press.

The 2016 Bilderberg meeting occurred shortly before the “Brexit” vote, a vote that might remove the UK from the EU! No doubt that was discussed, in addition to financial manipulations and geopolitics.

As Trump and Hillary prepare to square off this fall, the Libertarian Party has nominated its candidates for President and Vice President. They wanted to show how different the Libertarian Party was, so they nominated two former state governors who held their former office under the Republican Party!? Okay, I guess somebody did not get the memo.

It appears that the political situation in America is degrading. The Founders would not be happy with how things are going. It has gone far beyond the point for the elections this fall to fix everything wrong with this country.

I am a Christian (Reformed/Sovereign Grace Baptist type), white American of Western European bloodline, advocate of an agrarian social order, Kinist, White Nationalist, admirer of America’s Founding Fathers and the Boys in Gray, homesteader, indie published author, and amateur historian. I have indie published several books, all of which are available from Amazon. I am a life long resident of rural Orange County, IN –in the part of the Upper South that many would term Greater Appalachia or the Dixie Frontier. In addition to my own blog, I am a contributor to the multi-author blog Identity Dixie. I am active in promotion of the Alt-South movement. In addition to my blog writings, I am currently gearing up for (at least) two more book projects –one theological and one historical. The theological one will cover the three interpretational views of Daniel’s 70th Week. I hope to have this book in print in late summer 2017. (Hint: I am, not a Dispensational Futurist). The historical book will be a biography of George Rogers Clark (1752-1818). Clark was a noted Virginia militia officer who’s campaigns, including his successful siege of Vincennes, basically took the Old Northwest from Britain during the American Revolution. Clark spent the rest of his life around the river that separates Clarksville, IN from Louisville, Kentucky. I hope to have my Clark bio in print in early 2018.

  1. June 17th Update from the author: The media is now stating that the weapon allegedly used by Omar Mateen was a semi-auto SIG Sauer MCX. The MCX appears to be a piston driven variant of the Colt AR-15 and uses the same .223 caliber ammo as the AR-15 and Ruger Mini-14 and the same AR mags. It is protected by the 2nd amendment, just like the AR-15. Donald Trump is also reportedly meeting with the NRA about their stance against prohibiting those on the “terror watch list” from buying guns. Trump is already caving on gun control; does that surprise you? –Joe
